Retirements by beneficiary
Who has retired Marine Conservation Credits, and how much. Retirements are made under the programme's contribution-first framework (MCC-800): they support verified marine conservation outcomes and do not represent carbon offsets, neutrality, or emissions reduction claims. Requested and retired are different numbers. “Requested” is the quantity on the retirement record. “Units retired” is the quantity actually moved to RETIRED status on the unit ledger. A record with no executed unit allocation shows “—” and contributes nothing to any unit total on this page.
Purpose statements are not shown. The purpose text held against these records names third parties as making claims they have not made, and has not been cleared for publication. It is withheld until the records themselves are corrected.
Demonstration records. A record is marked Demonstration when the retirement, or its issuance batch, is flagged as demonstration data, or when the batch serial range begins MCC-DEMO-. Demonstration retirements are seeded records: they did not consume verified credits and may not be cited in compliance, contribution or third-party reporting. They are published rather than withheld so that the register accounts for its own contents.
